A Collection of Vintage Metallic and Textile Buttons - A diverse collection comprising group of vintage-style metallic buttons and group of smaller textile buttons. The metallic buttons, likely crafted from brass, bronze, or copper alloys, are meticulously displayed on a cream-colored card with hand-drawn blue circles. They feature a variety of styles including pictorial and naturalistic motifs such as trees, flowers, various birds (heron, owl, swallow), insects (dragonfly), mythological creatures (mermaids), shells, and corn, to more abstract or geometric patterns. Many exhibit intricate relief work, some incorporate colored enamel backgrounds (black, red) with gold-toned details, and a few are embellished with small faceted clear or colored stones.
