Predominantly crafted from iridescent mother-of-pearl, with some examples incorporating metallic elements such as brass, bronze, or silver-toned components, as well as rhinestones and dark beads. Designs are varied, including intricately carved floral motifs, geometric patterns, and figural scenes depicting a house on water or an anchor. A notable button features a miniature painted portrait of a woman. Both sew-through and shank button constructions are present within the collection. The diverse styles suggest a period likely spanning the late 19th to early 20th century. Sizes range from approximately 0.5 to 1.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 am to 2 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
