A Collection of Antique and Vintage Decorative Buttons, Victorian to Art Nouveau - A group of antique and vintage decorative buttons, predominantly crafted from brass, bronze, and gilt metal, with some identified as steel. The buttons exhibit diverse styles from ornate Victorian and Art Nouveau floral and geometric motifs, including prominent example with a griffin design. Embellishments include faceted glass stones, enamel, and mother-of-pearl inlays. Handwritten annotations next to individual buttons provide material descriptions and dates, such as ”1905” and ”1910.” The buttons are arranged on a cream-colored display board with blue pen circles. Display board measures approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) in height by 9 inches (22.9 cm) in width. Buttons vary in diameter, ranging from approximately 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) to 1.5 inches (3.8 cm). Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 am to 2 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
