A Collection of Victorian East Asian-Themed 'Fabulous Creature' Picture Buttons - A group of circular, decorative buttons, predominantly crafted from metallic materials such as brass or bronze, presented on an aged off-white mounting card with individual black outlines. The buttons feature diverse finishes including polished gold-tone, silver-tone accents, and dark antique patination; some also display iridescent red, pink, or purple enamel-like backgrounds. The designs are largely East Asian-themed, depicting intricate pictorial scenes including pagodas, figures in traditional dress (such as a geisha with a fan), mythological creatures like griffins and dragons, birds, and other detailed landscapes or vignettes.
