A Collection of Victorian and Art Nouveau Style Mixed Metal Buttons - A group of antique or vintage buttons, primarily circular and crafted from a variety of metals including brass, bronze, and silver-toned alloys, some accented with dark enamel or oxidized finishes. The buttons are neatly mounted on an aged, cream-colored card, with hand-drawn blue ink circles outlining their intended placement; their reverse fasteners are secured directly through the card. Designs are diverse, featuring intricate floral and foliage motifs, geometric patterns, openwork elements, and some pieces incorporate small clear rhinestones or glass cabochons. Stylistically, they exhibit characteristics suggestive of the late 19th to early 20th century, with discernible Victorian and Art Nouveau influences. A faint pencil notation, 'B mark,' is visible next to button. Card measures approximately 9 inches (22.86 cm) high by 6 inches (15.24 cm) wide. Burns in-house shipping is available.
