A Collection of 200+ Late 19th to Early 20th Century Molded Glass Pictorial Buttons - This lot comprises a group of or more vintage buttons, predominantly circular and varying in size, presented within a padded white tray. The collection features a diverse array of styles, primarily consisting of molded pictorial and scenic designs. Motifs include buildings, various animals such as horses, deer, birds, and lions, as well as intricate floral and foliate patterns. Some buttons also display geometric designs and abstract iridescent effects. The majority of the buttons appear to be crafted from molded glass, often showcasing iridescent ”luster” finishes in hues of blue, green, purple, and gold. Other buttons are solid black, opaque, or enhanced with metallic-toned embellishments in gold, silver, and bronze. The overall aesthetic is consistent with the late 19th to early 20th-century period. A handwritten note on the tray indicates ”6th Annual 200+”.
