Metlox California Pottery Pineapple Cookie Jar - A Metlox California Pottery pineapple cookie jar. This glazed ceramic lidded jar is sculpted and decorated to resemble a pineapple. The body features a textured, scaled pattern in yellow-gold with orange accents, mimicking the fruit's skin. The removable lid forms the green leafy crown, transitioning to an orangish hue at its base. The interior of the jar is glazed in a solid yellow. No discernible maker's marks or text are present. Height: 9.5 inches The jar is in good overall condition, with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The unglazed foot rim of the base is visible. The glazed underside exhibits extensive, fine craquelure, which is inherent to the piece. Burns in-house shipping is available.
