A Pair of Signed Studio Pottery Figural Pig and Moose Mugs - A pair of handcrafted studio pottery figural drinking vessels. The smaller piece depicts a pig, while the larger features a moose. Both are crafted from glazed stoneware, exhibiting a pale grey-green body glaze beneath an irregularly applied orange-brown glaze that highlights the animalistic features such as snouts, ears, and antlers, with painted blue and black details for the eyes. The larger moose-form item also features a blue glazed band around its upper body. Each piece has a sturdy handle. The bases of both bear an impressed signature that appears to read ”Steven” or ”Stephen” followed by a copyright date of ”©199X”, where the last digit is partially obscured. Moose mug height: 6 inches. Good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Minor dirt residue present on the unglazed foot rings. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, Dec. 4 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
