American Bisque Cat Cookie Jar with Tail Lid Handle, circa 1950s - An American Bisque glazed ceramic lidded jar, commonly known as a 'Cat Cookie Jar with Tail Lid Handle'. The jar features a whimsical, light blue rectangular body adorned with a three-dimensional anthropomorphic cat. The cat character has rosy cheeks, a pink bow, and a striped tail that extends to form the handle on the matching lid. Impressed with 'USA' on its base, the item exhibits a mid-20th century aesthetic. Height: 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) Generally well-preserved for its age. A noticeable chip is present on the underside edge of the lid. Crazing is visible on the underside of the jar. Burns in-house shipping is available.
