American Bisque Kitten & Yarn Cookie Jar, circa 1940s-1950s - An American Bisque ceramic cookie jar, circa 1940s-1950s, depicting kittens on a ball of yarn. The lidded jar is designed as a light green ball of yarn. The lid is topped with a sleeping pale tan and brown cat. A black-and-white spotted cat with pink cheeks is molded onto the side of the yarn ball base. No manufacturer's marks or other identifying text are discernable on the object itself. Height: Approximately 9 inches Good overall condition. No visible chips or cracks. The underside shows remnants of two rectangular red stickers. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, Dec. 4 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
