A Dazey No. 60 Glass Butter Churn Six Quart - A Dazey No. 60 Glass Butter Churn. This vintage hand-crank butter churn features a clear, ribbed glass jar topped with a cast iron gear mechanism and a circular metal lid. The crank arm is fitted with a dark-stained wooden handle. Visible markings on the cast iron mechanism include ”DAZEY” and ”60H”. The bottom of the glass jar is faintly embossed with ”S-C-G” and ”PAT APLD FOR” (Patent Applied For), along with an obscured number. Inside the jar, a multi-bladed wooden paddle assembly is attached to the central shaft. Height: 15.5 inches Good, used condition consistent with its age. No chips or cracks to the glass. Minor wear and surface oxidation are present on the metal components, and slight scuffing is visible on the glass. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, Dec. 4 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
