McCoy Covered Wagon Cookie Jar, 1960s - A McCoy 'Covered Wagon' cookie jar, dating from the 1960s. This glazed ceramic cookie jar is shaped as a covered wagon with a removable lid, rendered primarily in an off-white/cream glaze. It features hand-painted brown accents defining the wagon's structure and wheels, green for the grassy base, and additional yellow and purple details. The rear of the wagon's 'canvas' is inscribed with ”COOKIE WAGON” in brown script. The base is impressed with ”McCoy USA” and bears a ”CJ24” sticker. Measures approximately 10.5 inches long and 4.5 inches tall. Extensive crazing is present throughout the glaze, particularly noticeable on the base where some discoloration is also present. No chips or cracks are present, as per user-provided information. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, Dec. 4 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
