Three Antique Swiss Pocket Watches, including Lutz Bros. - This lot features three antique Swiss pocket watches, primarily cased in tarnished silver-toned metal. One watch, identified as by Lutz Bros. (also marked ”Lutz Freres” on the dial), features a white enamel or porcelain dial with Roman numerals and explicitly states ”LUTZ FRERES” and ”RAILWAY TIMEKEEPER” in red. Its inner cover is marked ”LUTZ BROTHERS,” ”LOCLE & N.Y.,” ”DETACHED LEVER,” and ”16 JEWELS” with serial number ”49960.” A second watch features a white enamel or porcelain dial with Roman numerals, and its inner case displays ”RAILWAY TIME KEEPER” within an oval emblem. The third watch presents a white enamel or porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and a floral garland decoration, with ”PATENT LEVER” on its inner cover. All three watches feature visible movements composed of gilt brass plates with steel components, indicative of lever escapements. Dimensions: Lutz Bros. watch: 2.6” across and .60” thick. Other watches: Approximately 2” across. All three watches exhibit considerable cosmetic wear, including heavy scratching, scuffing, and tarnishing to their cases.
