A Collection of Vintage Costume Jewelry and Vanity Items, Mid-20th Century Onwards - A collection of vintage costume jewelry and vanity items, predominantly dating from the mid-20th century onwards. The assortment includes numerous necklaces, bracelets, rings, brooches, and various earrings (including screw-back and clip-on styles). Also present are a silver-tone hand mirror, a matching hair comb with a plastic insert, several small decorative spoons, a lidded round compact, and a small wooden cross. Materials are largely base metals (gold-tone, silver-tone, brass-tone) set with a variety of elements such as glass rhinestones in multiple colors, faux pearls, plastic beads, enamel, and carved shell or plastic cameos. One spoon is engraved 'Mary Dement Schroeder 1959'. One green rhinestone screw-back earring is stamped 'JAPAN' on the back. A coin-like pendant features a bust with visible text 'VICTORIA QUEEN' and a date '1893' on one side, and a sarcophagus-like structure on the reverse. Condition varies across the lot, showing typical signs of age, wear, and tarnish. Some pieces exhibit missing elements or minor damage, such as a detached earring back.
