An English George III Sterling Silver Condiment Stand by AK, London 1816 - An English George III sterling silver condiment stand, confirmed by London hallmarks including the maker's mark 'AK', a lion passant, crowned leopard's head, and the date letter 'A' indicating 1816. The boat-shaped stand features a reeded rim, molded base, four tapering feet, a central carrying handle with an open rectangular top, and a stained wood liner. It accommodates five cut-glass bottles: three cruets with faceted stoppers and two shakers with pierced sterling silver covers. Stand length approximately 7.5 inches (19 cm). Stand height approximately 7.5 inches (19 cm). Bottle height approximately 6.5 inches (16.5 cm). Total weight 1174 grams. The item exhibits some tarnishing and surface wear consistent with its age.
