Vintage Binolux 7x35 Binoculars with Case and Box, and a Collection of Vintage Radios, Equestrian Spurs, and a Reference Book - A pair of Binolux 7x35 prismatic binoculars, featuring black leatherette covering and marked ”Binolux® No. T-7 50304 COATED” and ”7 X 35 355 ft at 1000 yds 4020.” The binoculars are presented with their tan pebbled leather carrying case, which is lined in red velvet embossed ”Binolux,” and the original blue cardboard box, marked ”Binolux” and ”NO. 4020 7X35 I.F. ZT Made in Japan.” A ”Certificate of Guarantee” from Compass Instrument & Optical Co., New York, 10, N.Y. is also included. The lot also comprises two compact transistor radios: a Westinghouse model housed in a worn tan leatherette case marked ”JAPAN,” and a black plastic General Electric ”SOLID STATE” AM radio with visible ”GENERAL ELECTRIC” branding and patent details on the rear. Equestrian items include a pair of silver-toned metal spurs with etched designs featuring an eagle motif, brass-colored star-shaped rowels, and tan leather straps, marked ”80.” Additionally, there is a single silver-toned metal spur with a cog-like rowel and tan leather strap, and a black leather and silver-toned metal accessory, possibly a decorative horse bridle or belt, adorned with conchos and chains. The single spur measures approximately 7 inches in length. All items exhibit general wear, scuffing, and signs of age consistent with their vintage nature. The Binolux binoculars and case appear in good condition, with the box showing creasing and wear. The radios show wear to their cases and surfaces. The spurs and leather accessory have surface wear and some tarnishing to the metal components, with the leather straps showing signs of use and age.
