A Collection of Mixed Silverplate Serving Wares - A collection of mixed electroplated silverplate serving wares. This lot includes a multi-piece coffee or tea service comprising two pots, a lidded sugar bowl, and a creamer. Also present is a footed lidded butter dish with a clear glass insert, a gravy boat with a black composite handle, two serving trays (one large, ornately engraved and and scalloped, another smaller scalloped one), sugar tongs, and two serving spoons. Various manufacturer markings are present across the pieces, identifying them as products from ONEIDA U.S.A., F.B. ROGERS SILVER CO. (with an ”1883” date mark and model numbers), POOLE SILVER CO. (marked ”EPCA”), THE SHEFFIELD SILVER CO. MADE IN U.S.A., and WM. A. ROGERS (including ”SILVER-BELLS” pattern on one spoon). Creamer: 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) Butter dish: 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) Tallest coffee/tea pot: 10.5 inches (26.7 cm) Smaller scalloped tray: 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) Larger scalloped tray: 14.5 inches (36.8 cm) The items exhibit a reflective, polished finish with typical surface wear, scratches, and some tarnish consistent with age and use.
