A Pair of Vintage Red Rhinestone Brooches - A pair of vintage costume brooches, each featuring red paste rhinestones set in gold-tone metal. The upper brooch is square-shaped, centered with a rectangular faceted red rhinestone, surrounded by an arrangement of smaller round and rectangular red rhinestones. The lower brooch is circular, designed in a starburst style, composed entirely of radiating clusters of round faceted red rhinestones. Both pieces are secured with a functional pin-back fastening mechanism on their gold-tone reverse sides, neither of which exhibits any discernible text or maker's marks. The square brooch measures approximately 1.75 inches (4.5 cm) in width. Good overall condition. All rhinestones appear present and bright. The gold-tone metal settings show minor surface wear consistent with age and use. Pin mechanisms are functional. Burns in-house shipping is available.
