A 1950s Two-Piece Aurora Borealis Faceted Glass Bead Necklace and Clip-On Earring Set - A two-piece vintage costume jewelry set, dating from the 1950s as indicated by a handwritten label. The set comprises a double-strand necklace and matching clip-on earrings, both crafted from faceted clear glass beads featuring an iridescent Aurora Borealis (AB) coating. The necklace incorporates a prominent central cluster of these beads, forming a floral-like element which functions as the clasp. The earrings are designed as matching bead clusters with silver-toned, openwork clip-on findings on their reverse. Diameter of central floral cluster (necklace): Approximately 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) Diameter of earrings: Approximately 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) Maximum width of necklace when laid flat: Approximately 7 inches (17.8 cm) The set is in good vintage condition, with all components intact and retaining their original sparkle.
