Vintage Buckeye State Sheriffs Association License Plate Topper, Ohio - A Vintage Buckeye State Sheriffs Association License Plate Topper, Ohio. This shield-shaped metal emblem features a central blue enameled field, inscribed with white text reading ”MEMBER” at the top, ”BUCKEYE STATE” in a curved arc, ”SHERIFFS” prominently in the center, and ”ASSOCIATION” along the bottom curve. The top portion displays a sunburst design over a landscape, rendered in a brassy metal tone. Below the shield is a rectangular metallic attachment piece with a slotted opening. The reverse side reveals the metallic construction, with the text ”BUCKEYE STATE” and ”MEMBER” embossed in reverse, secured by two visible rivets. Length: 4 7/8 inches (12.4 cm) Width: 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm) Significant wear, tarnish, and some corrosion are present on the metallic elements, particularly on the lower attachment and edges. The blue enamel appears largely intact with minor surface scuffs. Burns in-house shipping is available.
