A Collection of Antique and Vintage Timepieces and Watch Components, including an Illinois Hunter-Case Pocket Watch - A varied collection of eleven antique and vintage timepieces and watch components. The group includes a gold-toned, engine-turned hunter-case pocket watch featuring an ”Illinois” dial with Roman numerals and a sub-seconds hand, its interior movement marked ”ILLINOIS WATCH CO. SPRINGFIELD”, ”11 JEWELS”, with a case interior guarantee of ”20 YEARS NO BRASS” and serial ”500835”, attached to a striped fabric ribbon. Also present are two gold-toned pocket watch cases, one an empty open-face case with an engraved Greek key bezel, and another an empty silver-toned open-face case marked ”9044” and ”DENMARK” inside. Wristwatches include a small, rectangular gold-toned ladies' ”Hamilton 17 Jewels” watch, a child's silver-toned ”Snow White W.D.P.” (Walt Disney Productions) character watch, and an ornate octagonal silver-toned ladies' wristwatch with a flexible bracelet. Further wristwatches include an empty gold-toned tonneau-shaped case marked ”WATERPROOF BASE METAL BEZEL STAINLESS STEEL BACK”, a large incomplete round silver-toned wristwatch movement/case, and a silver-toned men's ”VYLAR ELECTRONIC AUTOMATIC SWISS WATERPROOF” wristwatch with a date window. Diameter of Illinois pocket watch: 1.75 inches. All items exhibit varying degrees of wear, scratches, and discoloration consistent with age and use. Several pieces are incomplete or missing components, including the empty pocket watch cases, the ornate octagonal ladies' wristwatch (missing crystal, damaged dial), the empty tonneau-shaped case, and the incomplete round wristwatch movement/case. The child's ”Snow White” watch has a heavily worn red fabric strap. Functionality of all timepieces is untested and cannot be guaranteed. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 2pm to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
