Revell USS Constitution ”Old Ironsides” 1:96 Scale Bi-Centennial Plastic Model Kit, 1976 - A Revell plastic model kit of the U.S.S. Constitution, known as ”Old Ironsides”, 1:96 scale, issued as a Bi-Centennial Celebration Model in 1976. Presented in its original printed cardboard box, the kit contains numerous plastic components, largely still attached to their sprues, along with rigging thread and other parts. The box front states ”Beautifully detailed with 39 pre-formed, billowing sails” and describes it as ”a majestic, ready to assemble model engineered from plans provided by Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.” The internal components appear complete and well-preserved within their packaging, suggesting the kit is unbuilt or partially unbuilt. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 2pm to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
