A Mid-20th Century Painted Wooden Cutout Advertising Display Sign - A large, graphically painted wooden cutout display sign, likely dating from the mid-20th century, depicting the smiling head and stylized shoulders of a woman. The sign is executed in a bold, simplified style characteristic of vintage advertising art, utilizing a limited palette of black, beige, peach, white, and red for the lips. The material is thick wood or plywood, cut to shape. The reverse of the sign is reinforced with a central vertical wooden board and horizontal cross-members (battens) affixed with fasteners, suggesting it was designed for freestanding display or mounting.
