A Collection of International Coins, Commemorative Medals, and Trade Tokens - This numismatic collection includes bronze commemorative medals, Australian coin sets, and various world coins. A prominent bronze medal by Medallic Art Co. commemorates Alaska becoming the 49th state on January 3, 1959. Boxed bronze medals feature high-relief portraits of U.S. Presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and John F. Kennedy. The lot includes Australian coin sets: a pre-decimal set featuring a 1964 penny, 1951 three pence, 1953 florin, 1953 shilling, and 1961 half penny, alongside a post-1966 decimal set. Coins from Tibet and Nepal are individually housed in annotated card holders, including Tibetan Tangkas dated 1948, 1821-1850, and 1736-1795, and Nepalese Mohars dated 1811-1833 and 1917-1933. Bags contain loose international coins and tokens, featuring a 1900 German 5 Pfennig and a merchant trade token for Barney Byrnes of Newark, Ohio. Burns in-house shipping is available.
