A group of United States Buffalo Indian Head Nickels 1913-1938 - A group of United States five-cent pieces, commonly known as Buffalo or Indian Head Nickels, struck in copper-nickel alloy. The coins represent dates and mint marks across the series lifespan, generally spanning the 1913 through 1938 period. The collection includes visible dates and mint marks such as 1913 Type, 1915, 1919-S, 1927-D, and 1938-D. Each coin is individually housed in a standard white cardboard 2x2 coin holder secured with staples. The holders bear handwritten notations in ink and pencil indicating the date, mint mark, ”TYPE, ” ”GRADE, ” and inventory or pricing codes. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
