A group of 50 United States 90% Silver Roosevelt Dimes - A group of United States 90% silver Roosevelt Dimes, commonly referred to as Junk Silver. The lot consists of loose, circulated dimes. The coins are composed of 90% silver, consistent with US coinage minted prior to 1965. Visible examples of the loose coins show the date 1955. The accompanying pink note is marked ”50 Dimes 1955-D” and the brown paper wrapper is marked”-D, ” indicating the coins are 1955-D Roosevelt Dimes from the Denver Mint. The obverse features the portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the reverse displays the standard design of the torch flanked by an olive branch and an oak branch. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
