The weighted bases are constructed in a classical style featuring flared conical forms, rope twist or gadrooning borders on the rims and bases, and are designed to be interchangeable, allowing configuration as low candlesticks or shallow footed bowls/vases. The material is confirmed as sterling silver and the bases are weighted for stability. The accompanying souvenir spoon is also sterling silver and features extensive pictorial decoration on the handle with the engraved text GRAND CANYON.
