A group of 1964-D Washington Quarters, 90% Silver - A collection of United States Washington Quarters, dated 1964 with the Denver (D) mint mark. These coins are struck in the standard 90% silver composition used prior to the switch to clad coinage. Each coin is housed individually in a square, stapled cardboard holder. The holders are hand-inscribed in dark ink with ”D” and the notation ”DOUBLE 'D',” representing a potential doubled die or doubled mint mark variety claim made by the previous owner. The coins exhibit heavy toning consistent with circulation. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
