A Collection of US 1931-S Lincoln Wheat Cents - A collection of United States 1931-S Lincoln Wheat Cents, struck in copper/bronze. Each coin is individually housed in a stapled cardboard 2x2 coin flip, of which are off-white and is light blue. The coins exhibit the standard Lincoln Cent design featuring the profile of Abraham Lincoln on the obverse and wheat ears flanking the denomination on the reverse. The date 1931 and the San Francisco mint mark (S) are visible on the coins. The cardboard holders are heavily annotated in handwritten blue or black ink with identifying marks such as ”1931-S,” ”VF,” and pricing notations, typically reading ”$45.00.” The lot includes a separate white paper label featuring large black print stating ”1931-S Rare!” Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
