A group of 1859 US Indian Head Copper-Nickel One Cent Coins - A collection of United States Indian Head One Cent coins, all dated 1859. These coins are struck in the Copper-Nickel composition (88% Copper, 12% Nickel) used during the early years of the series (1859-1864). The obverse features the profile of Liberty wearing a feathered headdress, and the reverse displays the denomination ONE CENT within a laurel wreath. Each coin is individually secured within a standard cardboard coin flip. Holders are orange and is cream. Handwritten notations on the holders indicate preliminary collector grading and pricing, including designations of V.G. (Very Good) and FINE. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
