The piece is finished in a high-gloss celadon green glaze, which pools and darkens in the recesses of the molded form, highlighting the relief details. The dish features a scalloped rim and is modeled with a realistic relief sculpture of a fish at one end, likely intended to serve as a rest. The underside of the item features the unglazed central foot area impressed with a circular symbol resembling a stylized sunburst or flower, along with the stamped mold number 6500.
