Steuben Aurene Gold Iridescent Art Glass Ruffled Bowl 564 - A single item of American Art Glass attributed to Steuben, featuring the highly iridescent finish known as Aurene. The piece is formed as a shallow, rounded bowl or master salt cellar with an irregularly ruffled, free-form rim. The glass exhibits a strong metallic luster, displaying shifting hues of gold, bronze, blue, and pink, characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. The base of the bowl features a polished pontil area hand-incised with the signature ”AURENE” and the numerical designation ”564.” Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
