Thompson Center Arms Cherokee .45 Caliber Percussion Muzzleloader Rifle - A Thompson Center Arms Cherokee black powder percussion muzzleloader rifle chambered in .45 caliber. The firearm features a 24-inch octagonal blued steel barrel fitted with an adjustable rear notch sight and a front blade sight. It is mounted on a finished wood stock featuring a distinct cheekpiece and polished brass hardware, including the buttplate, trigger guard, and ramrod thimbles. The percussion lock and hammer display a color-case-hardened finish. The barrel is marked THOMPSON / CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE 45 CAL. CHEROKEE and bears the serial number 17028. Barrel length: 24 inches. This item is either black powder or manufactured in or before 1898 (and does not take readily available ammunition), and thus does not require an FFL or background check.
