MEC 8567 Grabber Progressive Shotshell Reloading Press - This MEC Model 8567 Grabber is a progressive shotshell reloading press manufactured by the Mayville Engineering Company. The unit features a red-painted cast metal frame and base. The manual mechanical assembly consists of an operating lever with a varnished wooden handle, multiple steel guide rods, a central tension spring, and a rotary shell carrier plate. Stamped markings on the base and internal components identify the manufacturer as MEC and the model as 8567 GRABBER, along with patent numbers 3,973,465 and 4,133,249. The press is configured for 20-gauge shells, as indicated by the accompanying Winchester AA shell. Included with the press is a large amber-tinted plastic reservoir for shot or powder.
