Antique Cast Iron Kettle with Gate Mark and Number 6 Star Emblem - This 19th-century sand-cast iron tea kettle features a bulbous body and a traditional goose-neck spout. The item is constructed with a wire bail handle and a fitted swivel lid. The lid is embossed with a six-pointed star emblem containing the numeral 6 at its center. A prominent gate mark is located across the center of the base, indicative of 19th-century manufacturing techniques. The base is flat and stable. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
