A Collection of Military Surplus Steel Ammunition Cans - A collection of military surplus ammunition cans constructed from steel with an olive drab green finish and one example in light blue-gray. All ammo cans are empty. The containers feature integrated top-carrying handles and hinged lids secured by heavy-duty locking latches. Many units retain original yellow stenciled military markings for various ammunition types, including 7.62mm NATO, 5.56mm tracer, .30 caliber, and .50 caliber cartridges, with lot numbers such as LC 12111, LC 39829, and LC 13084. Several cans have been repurposed for storage and bear handwritten or typed labels such as COINS, STATE QUARTERS, and 2nd OHIO. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
