Mid-19th Century American Coin Silver Spoons, Marked Stewart - 78.5 grams coin silver. American coin silver flatware items, circa mid-19th century, comprising a large serving spoon and a smaller teaspoon. The items are constructed in a plain, utilitarian style consistent with the period, likely Fiddle pattern or similar. The smaller teaspoon is clearly stamped ”COIN” near the bowl junction, confirming the material standard. The larger serving spoon is marked ”STEWART” on the reverse of the handle and exhibits faint engraved decoration or initials on its terminal. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
