A Group of Vintage Camel Bone and Brass Items, including a Trinket Box - A vintage camel bone and brass trinket box, constructed from segmented panels of aged, cream-colored bone. The oval-shaped hinged box is adorned with a central brass or bronze medallion featuring a relief of an elephant, connected by decorative lines and smaller circular pins. It is secured with a stylized bat or owl-shaped brass clasp. The interior is lined with black felt. Accompanying the box is rectangular dangle earrings, each made from bone, inlaid with small red, iridescent blue/green, and black floral designs, suspended by modern silver-tone metal ear hooks. The third item is a tapering bone implement, possibly a letter opener or decorative handle, distinguished by an intricate, deeply carved section depicting a dragon or mythical beast with scales and a prominent eye. The stylistic elements of the carved implement and box design suggest an East Asian influence. Burns in-house shipping is available.
