A group of Vintage Lombok Wood and Bone Fertility Dolls, Indonesia - A group of vintage Lombok wood and bone fertility dolls from Indonesia. Each anthropomorphic figure features a dark, patinated carved wooden head with a stylized face and a topknot of coarse black hair. The arms and legs are similarly carved from wood. The torsos are crafted from a lighter, bone or ivory-like material, intricately carved with abstract designs on the front and back; figure clearly displays a fish motif on its reverse. The limbs are attached to the torso with visible metal screws, allowing for articulation. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
