No. 63-3002, dating to the early 1990s as indicated by the 1993 copyright on its owner's manual. The item comprises a main unit constructed of black plastic with a control panel labeled ”Radio Shack,” ”SENSITIVITY,” ”DISCRIMINATOR DETECTOR,” ”DISCRIMINATOR,” ”VOLUME,” ”METER,” ”BATTERY TEST,” and ”EAR.” This unit is attached to a telescoping silver-colored metal shaft that connects to a round black plastic search coil. The detector is presented in its original cardboard box, which features graphics of people using the device and English text highlighting features such as ”Find coins, 'buried treasure,' jewelry, relics and more” and noting that it ”Requires 6 'AA' Batteries.” The accompanying owner's manual is present.
