A group of Assorted European and English Townscape Artworks, including signed G. Pol. - A group of assorted artworks on paper, divided into distinct groups. The first group consists of larger works, likely original watercolor paintings or high-quality prints, depicting European townscapes, churches, canals, and one windmill landscape. These works are individually mounted on large white cardstock mats and are characterized by expressive color palettes. Each image is signed in red script, apparently G. Pol., in the lower right corner of the image area. The second group consists of small, commercially produced prints, each sealed in clear plastic sleeves with brown cardstock matting. These prints depict historical English scenes, specifically views of Anne Hathaway's Cottage and one of Shakespeare's Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon. Attached labels attribute these prints to the artist W.W. Quatremain (or Quatermain) and indicate a retail price of £1.00. Width of small matted prints: Approx. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
