A Vernacular White Painted Twig and Stave Jardiniere or Plant Stand - A single rustic jardiniere or plant stand constructed in the vernacular style, consistent with Adirondack or cottage garden furniture. The piece is built entirely of rough-hewn natural wood branches and vertical wood staves. The upper section forms an approximately circular bowl or planter, defined by vertical staves, of which are pointed at the top rim. This bowl is supported by a tripod-style base composed of bundled and crossed sticks radiating from a central vertical support. The entire structure is coated in thick white paint. A small yellow inventory sticker bearing the number 217 is affixed to the side of the planter bowl. Approximate Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
