Mid-20th Century Folk Art Style Table Lamp with Pennsylvania Dutch Decoration - A single table lamp executed in a mid-20th century Folk Art or Colonial Revival style, featuring decorative motifs strongly associated with Pennsylvania Dutch aesthetics. The lamp body is constructed of wood, framed by painted reddish-brown plinths at the top and base. The central rectangular panels are finished in dark blue and decorated on all sides with white silkscreened or stenciled imagery. The continuous decoration depicts a stylized village scene including houses, human figures, trees, a full moon, birds (likely eagles or doves), and stylized horses. The lamp is fitted with brass-toned hardware and topped by an off-white, trapezoidal fabric shade. The base is covered in green felt. The lamp currently holds a Sylvania 100W bulb. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
