Primitive and Vintage Utility Antiques - The collection consists of items of mixed primitive and vintage utility antiques, primarily constructed from wood, metal, and glass. The lot includes wooden framed washboards: one featuring densely patterned brass or zinc rubbing surface with partial branding reading ”DEAR ON-EASY, COLUMBUS WASH BOARD CO.,” and a second washboard with corrugated glass rubbing surface, faintly marked ”STANDARD SIZE.” The lot also features a rustic, rectangular wooden wall shelf displaying heavy chipping of green paint. A detached, oxidized four-tine iron or steel pitchfork head is included. A black-finished wire waste basket is present, stamped on the metal base ”MASSILLON WIRE BASKET CO. PAT. JAN. The final item is a large, rectangular wooden slatted storage crate, consistent with known examples of Humpty Dumpty egg crates used for farming and general store purposes.
