A group of Modern Age Marvel Comics Featuring Captain America and The Marvels Project - A group of individual staple-bound comic books published by Marvel Comics, primarily focused on Captain America and related WWII-era storylines. The collection is comprised of distinct groups. The first group consists of sequential issues from the limited series The Marvels Project, written by Ed Brubaker and featuring art by Steve Epting and others, characterized by sequential painted covers depicting Golden Age characters and war scenes. The second group consists of assorted Captain America titles, including issues labeled as ”70th Anniversary Issues, ” issues of Captain America: The 1940s Newspaper Strip, and a issue of Young Allies. All comics are individually protected within clear plastic sleeves. This collection represents Modern Age publishing (post-1992). Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
