A Pair of Vintage Hand-Stitched Cotton Quilts, Appliqué Tulip and Grandmother's Flower Garden Patterns - This lot features two vintage hand-stitched cotton quilts showcasing traditional American needlework. The first is an appliqué quilt designed with a stylized pink tulip and green leaf motif set against a crisp white ground, finished with a coordinating solid pink border. The second is a patchwork quilt in the classic Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern, meticulously constructed from multicolored printed and solid hexagonal pieces to create a vibrant floral field with a decorative scalloped edge. Both textiles exhibit intricate hand-quilting throughout and represent mid-20th-century domestic craftsmanship. Neither piece bears a visible maker's mark. Tulip quilt measures approximately 73 inches W x 74 inches L. Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt measures approximately 72 inches W x 87 inches L. Burns in-house shipping is available.
