Blenko 2014 West Virginia Day Vase Topaz - This hand-blown art glass vase was produced by the Blenko Glass Company as a commemorative piece for West Virginia Day in 2014. Designed by Arlon Bayliss, the piece is titled Sunrise Over Appalachia and features a fan-shaped bowl with a heavily ruffled, flared rim. The body is constructed of clear glass with vertical ribbing and a concentrated topaz-colored inclusion at the weighted base. The item retains its original oval factory sticker reading BLENKO HANDCRAFT Made in USA. The side of the vase is hand-signed in etched script Walter Blenko. The underside of the base is further etched WV DAY 2014. Height: 7.5 inches Width: 7.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
