A Collection of Mid-20th Century Glass and Paste Jeweled Buttons - This collection consists of various vintage costume jewelry buttons mounted on a white cardboard display board. The assortment features a diverse range of styles including ornate Victorian-inspired floral and geometric designs alongside novelty shapes such as a star, an Aladdin-style oil lamp, and a miniature saddle. The buttons are constructed from gold- and silver-toned base metals and are heavily embellished with faceted glass rhinestones, faux pearls, colorful glass cabochons, and one circular wooden element. The mounting board includes a printed label reading PASTES and handwritten cataloging notes stating VERY UNUSUAL CONST. MUST HAVE BEEN HIGH-END and MOVEABLE, the latter referring to the articulated saddle component.
