A Collection of Antique Victorian and Edwardian Division I Metal Picture Buttons - An assortment of antique Victorian and Edwardian metal picture buttons, categorized as Division I. The collection features relief-cast designs in various metals including brass, copper, silver-toned, and bronze-toned alloys. Subject matter includes classical and mythological figures, hunting scenes with hounds, equestrian motifs, and Orientalist figures carrying fans and parasols. Heraldic imagery and animal subjects, such as a wolf head and a goat with grapes, are also represented. The lot includes a color-tinted portrait button of a woman and several large-scale figural scenes. The buttons are mounted on a white display card which contains handwritten notations such as Reapers. The mounting board measures approximately 11 inches in length. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
