A Collection of Victorian Pierced Metal and Celluloid Buttons - A collection of vintage buttons presented on a display card labeled Division I and Backgrounds of Celluloid. The buttons are constructed with metal filigree and embossed decorative overlays in brass and copper tones, mounted upon diverse celluloid backgrounds including faux-tortoiseshell, pearlized, and polychrome finishes. Select pieces feature rhinestone or glass accents. The collection includes various decorative motifs such as a horseshoe, a basket of flowers, an anchor, and sports equipment. Most buttons are circular in form, with one square example included. Card width: 9 inches Button diameters: 0.5 to 1.5 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
